You Are DPTV
I
chose to support DPTV as a Sustainer for a number of reasons which include:
generally good, decent, clean programming, something that’s hard to find these
days on regular/cable TV programming. Setting up to make automatic monthly payments
is the best way that I felt I could say, over and over again, “thank you”, and
have never been sorry in doing so. As
long as there is DPTV, I will be there to give to help keep it alive, because it
contributes to society in a positive manner, which is very important to my wife
and me.
- James Tokarski

[Sustaining
membership is easy for you, and great for DPTV, setting up automatic monthly
payments from your charge account. To become a sustaining member online,

sustainer including by phone and mail-in form and from a checking

Greetings from Detroit Public TV.
Dear ,
Chris Mann Comes to DPTV!
Chris Mann (from 'The Voice') will be with us at the Riley Broadcast Center this Friday at 9:30 pm ET to talk about his first concert special, Chris Mann in Concert: A Mann For All Seasons. Chris Mann performs an
exciting and eclectic blend of songs, ranging from "Ave Maria" to Damien
Rice's "The Blower's Daughter," and Willie Nelson's "Always On My
Mind," to Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now." Now he's found a home here
on PBS, with a new program DPTV is bringing to the
nation, singing a collection of classical-crossover favorites live in
concert with two very special guests: four-time CMA Female Vocalist of
the Year and 14-time Grammy nominated Martina McBride and bestselling
contemporary jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair.
Love Create? Show it starting Monday!
Pledge drive ends on our main channel Sunday. Starting Monday, 12/17, you have the
opportunity to show your support for another Detroit Public Television service, our How-To Channel 56.3 Create. Tune in for an array of
programming that shows you how to improve your life and your
home, tempt your palate, and discover the world. But these programs depend on having their own
viewer support, just like our main channel. So if you're a watcher, tune
in 56.3 and pledge on air this Monday or online by clicking
here.
If you haven't seen it yet, look for
television's most popular how-to, cooking, crafting, and travel series over the
air on Channel 56.3, or on cable (Comcast 288, BrightHouse 156, Charter
433). If your cable or satellite company does not have WTVS Create 56.3,
ask them for it!
Sincerely,
Ryan Laurie Vice President of Individual Giving
