Night On DPTV
Detroit
Public TV presents programming featuring The Rolling Stones on DPTV’s
Saturday Night Concert series, March 9, from 8-11 p.m. Veteran Detroit
Radio personality Steve Kostan from 94.7 WCSX will join us in-studio to
talk about the legendary British rock group during Muddy Waters & The
Rolling Stones Live, from 1981 and the Rolling Stones Rock & Roll
Circus, from 1968. The Rolling Stones event is part of DPTV’s annual
March membership drive, encouraging viewers to support programs on DPTV.
Extraordinary high school vocalists
from Southeast Michigan are featured in Detroit Performs: Tim Janis: Celebrate America 2013
On Thursday, March 7th at 9pm ET, join composer Tim Janis, his ensemble and over five hundred
extraordinary high school vocalists from across the state of Michigan
for his new special Detroit Performs: Celebrate America, a
collection of
inspirational American songs.
