The hit drama Call the Midwife returns with all new episodes with more births, babies
and bicycling, plus blossoming romance.
This moving, intimate, funny and
true-to-life series, based on the best-selling memoirs of the late Jennifer
Worth, tells colorful stories of midwifery and families in London's East End in
the 1950s. Premiering Sunday, 3/31 at 8pm ET, season two opens with Jenny Lee's birthday. The next day she takes on a
new patient who's involved in an abusive relationship. In other events,
Trixie and Sister Evangelina board a Swedish cargo ship to care for the
season two, we'll continue our blog, Modern Day
Midwives, with stories from local midwives from Wayne State University
and University of
Michigan, discussing how obstetrics have changed in relation to
the 1950's era Call the
Jeremy Piven stars as the upstart American who taught the English how to shop in Masterpiece Classic's new series Mr. Selfridge
At the unfashionable end of Oxford Street in 1909 London, an American
retail tycoon arrives to jettison fusty British tradition and open the
biggest and finest department store the world has ever seen: Selfridges.
Three-time Emmy winner Jeremy Piven (in his first television
appearance since his iconic role as Hollywood agent Ari Gold in Entourage)
stars as Harry Gordon Selfridge, the flamboyant entrepreneur and
showman seeking to provide London's shoppers with the ultimate
merchandise and the ultimate thrill.

battling her ex-husband for custody of their two children, completing
her college education and dealing with the repercussions of having been
sexually abused as a child.
Eat, Fast and Live Longer With Michael Mosley Wednesday, 4/3 from 10:00 - 11:00 p.m. ET. Science writer Michael Mosley sets out to become healthier and lose
weight without making many changes to his life. He learns
about the benefits of fasting, which can reduce the risks of heart
disease and cancers.
